"Syracuse University’s Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) is proud to partner with the Veteran Collaborative on providing graduates of IVMF’s Arsenal of entrepreneurship programs with access to capital resources to grow their businesses, one of the top challenges for veteran owned businesses. The IVMF has served over 132,000 transitioning service members, veterans, and military family members in which many have gone on to start a successful and growing business. Through IVMF Alumni Services’ Post Program Support initiative as well as partnership webinar events, we are able to educate and directly connect graduates to valuable resources like the Veteran Collaborative. Working together with organizations like the Veteran Collaborative make a meaningful impact on not only the IVMF community, but also the veteran entrepreneur community as a whole."

- Misty Stutsman, Director, Entrepreneurship & Small Business, IVMF

"This collaborative serving Veterans is innovative and fresh; specific goals are aligned by the group with an understanding of needed seed capital and loan reserves while providing ideation on serving such an important group of individuals in both our urban and rural communities.  It is not often that a proposal is outlined that gives the back ground of the group – the clear needs at hand – and with proper investment – an exit strategy of continued and ongoing support."

- Wendy Baumann, President and CVO, WWBIC

This collaborative serving Veterans is much needed and BBIF is proud to be a partner member. The veteran community is an important part of our nation’s small business tapestry. We’re proud to be a member of the collaborative effort as we believe it is one of the best ways to support the Veteran community."

- Inez Long, President and CEO, BBIF Florida

Bunker Labs is a national network of veteran and milspouse entrepreneurs dedicated to helping the military connected community start their own business. 25% of transitioning service members want to start a business, but only a fraction can pursue this goal, with access to capital being a main issue.  The Veteran Collaborative network of community lenders provides the small business capital needed for veterans and milspouses across the country to start or grow their small businesses. The Veteran Collaborative is an integral part of the overall veteran entrepreneurial ecosystem."

- Todd Connor, Founder, Bunker Labs

My father was a Vietnam-era veteran, so I understand the sacrifices that our veterans have made for America. I'm so impressed with PeopleFund’s veteran lending collaborative.  CEO Gustavo Lasala and his team are working tirelessly amid health and economic crises in this country to ensure that veterans receive the financial support they need to enable their businesses to grow and thrive.”

- Donna Gambrell, President and CEO, Appalachian Community Capital

VetToCEO enjoys a strong partnership with the Veteran Collaborative as well as numerous CDFI so critical to the success of veteran entrepreneurship. As seasoned entrepreneur educators and veteran advocates, now in our 7th year, we understand the many obstacles veterans encounter when considering entrepreneurship, funding being among the greatest. Together, we can and will help more veterans become entrepreneurs!"

- COL (R) Rob Campbell, Executive Director, VETtoCEO

Veteran Loan Fund was formed to address the issues military veterans face with access to capital.  Veteran-owned small businesses are the backbone of our economy, yet military veterans face distinct barriers looking for capital.  In response to this, we designed a platform specifically tailored towards military veteran entrepreneurs and their needs.
